Fall Clean-Up Day
Come to the church ready to work, but only do so after bellies are full! Fellowship family members come to the church with work gloves, cleaning supplies, and whatever else needed to get the church in good shape and enjoy breakfast. When ready, members of the Stewardship Ministry Team will be ready to provide you with places around the church that may be in need of elbow grease. No experience necessary – just a willing spirit! Breakfast Is served between 8 and 9, with the workday anticipated to not stretch past 11:30.

Join the Fellowship Family and FPC mission partner Voices Together Now in the library after worship Sunday, October 11, until 1pm for Part 1 of a two-part screening and discussion of Bad Faith 2026: Christian Nationalism in Power. “How Did We Get Here?” explores Christian nationalism’s historical, religious, and political roots. Matthew 25 Speaker Series: Staying Safe in Today’s World
A representative from the Guilford County Emergency Management Department will share practical ways individuals and families can prepare for severe weather, power outages, emergencies, and other unexpected events, including alerts, emergency plans, and reliable information during a crisis. Bring your own dinner and enjoy pre-event conversation from 5:15 to 5:45, with the program beginning at 5:45pm and lasting approximately 1 hour.

Each Child Counts 5k: Race to Liberia
The Each Child Counts Foundation, one of Fellowship’s mission partners, is hosting the 5k Race for Liberia at Oak Ridge Town Park on Saturday, October 17, starting at 9am. Proceeds support the school’s ongoing operational expenses and other initiatives in Liberia.

Parenting and grandparenting today brings challenges previous generations could scarcely have imagined. A representative with the Guilford County Department of Public Health will help us explore issues like vaccinations, bullying, social media, talking about sexuality and how caring adults can help young people navigate an increasingly complicated world. Who are our Muslim neighbors, and what do they believe? Hear from a member of the Muslim community about the beliefs, traditions, and practices of Islam. The conversation will provide an opportunity to ask questions, challenge misconceptions, and explore how greater understanding can strengthen relationships among people of different faiths. Join Hubert for a 2-mile walk along Lake Brandt, with a one-mile walk out, a brief rest at the lake, and then a walk back.
