Fellowship Hikers (a.k.a. “Hiking with Hubert”)

The next Fellowship Hikers event with Hubert Lathan is Saturday, July 11, at 9am. The Crockett Trail is a 2 mile hike along the shores of Lake Townsend. Please meet at the trail’s parking lot located across from a home at 5337 Church Street approximately 0.2 miles from Air Harbor Road. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle. Any monies collected in this monthly offering are sent to Salem Presbytery’s “Pennies for Hunger” program, which benefits hunger-related ministries and organizations within the bounds of Salem Presbytery.

Fellowship Speaker Series: Living Our Faith in a Complex World Christian Nationalism: What is it? Why should we care?

 

Come join us for discussion about what is Christian nationalism and how it causes harm in our communities today. We will explore what we mean by Christian nationalism, where it shows up, and why it is problematic. We will also begin exploring what we can do to counter Christian Nationalism when we see it, and what action steps can be taken. Light Refreshments will be served. Brunch Buddies (Alicia Riddle Playground and Fellowship Hall)

August Theme is Water Play (no water guns, please)

 

Children up to (and including) 5th grade and their caregivers, come and play together on the FPC playground or, if its raining, burn some energy in the fellowship hall.
